The Love of Vicentica Foundation GIVES AID TO PHILIPPINE FLOOD VICTIMS

THE LOVE OF VICENTICA FOUNDATION Gives Aid to Philippine Flood Victims (11/15/2009)

The Love of Vicentica Foundation, in cooperation with St. John the Baptist Church in El Cerrito, California partcipates in the world wide response to the needs of the victims of flooding in the Philippines.

Thousands of people were left homeless as series of Pacific typhoons hit the country in September and October this year.

The founder of the Foundation, Thalia Cayetano, a native of Batanes, Philippines, invited parishioners, friends and co-workers to join efforts in prayer and to contribute clothing, medical supplies, canned
goods and sanitary items.

Every Saturday, from the first week of October to the second week of December, the Foundation sent goods and cash that amounted to more than $13,250.00.

Thanks to the volunteers who helped the foundation pack, transport and send the boxes. LBC Cargo forwarders, the television station ABS-CBN, and the Immaculate Conception church in Marikina were
instrumental in getting all these goods distributed to the flood victims.

Thanks to Kaiser employees and to St. John the Baptist staff and parishioners for their unselfish support.

Thanks to all of you who responded to the urgent needs of the flood victims. May God reward you on behalf of the Filipino people.
